Seasonal Anxiety and Depression is a training intended for Parents and Caregivers. During this training we will explore why the holiday season can be challenging for many individuals and what we can do to promote health and wellbeing for our children during this time. We will gain understanding about the difference between winter blues and seasonal affective disorder. We will talk about signs and symptoms of SAD (seasonal affective disorder), and what we can do if we notice them in our youth.

2. Discuss role of mindful awareness in navigating holiday season
3. Recognize difference between winter blues and seasonal affective disorder
4. Understand sings and symptoms of seasonal affective disorder
5. Learn what parents/caregivers can do to support their child’s mental wellbeing
